Before I experienced this work, I didn’t even think it was a problem to have chronic tension and injuries. It thought it was a necessary part of life, and of my career as a dancer.
It’s not. Bring me a bouquet of flowers, and I’ll spend 30 minutes showing you what I mean. Yes, really! If you decide to study with me, it’s an investment and I think you should get to meet me first.
I’ll share the principles of the Alexander Technique using my own particular method of experiential anatomy and developmental movement; we then apply what is learned to an activity, problem, or question that you have to explore.
I met with Clare for a Freedom From Tension Flower Session last month and it was terrific. She has a keen understanding of each body’s individual wisdom. I recommend meeting with her!
Yes. There is no catch. I just love having flowers in my studio every week, and so do my students.
You will get a chance to tell me how you imagine I might help you, and I’ll give you a brief hands-on experience of what the Alexander Technique can do for you.
I love to find out what your favorite flowers are. Even neon deli flowers are welcome, no flower is too high or too low for me! Just bring flowers though, cause if everybody keeps bringing potted plants there will be no room left in the studio!
I’ve never not totally enjoyed the session, and as far as I know neither has anyone else. The risk we both take is equal (you, the flower; me, the time), and the benefit also!
